ConText (What The Bible Says About Jesus Christ) is a departure from the “Awkward Bible” series by Horus Gilgamesh, taking a fresh (and illustrated) stab at the question, “Who was Jesus?” Focused solely on the life and times of a capricious Christ (so that Christians won’t be so quick to dismiss the “irrelevant stuff” from the Old Testament), ConText combines brand new illustrations with a carefully curated selection from earlier books as Horus takes a close look at the life of Christ – comparing what is actually revealed in Biblical texts vs. what has come to be taught in modern churches.
